Criminal Justice Reform Series
St. John’s Episcopal Church is hosting this free series at St. John's Parish Day School. Each program begins at 6:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

  • March 20: A panel of experts will discuss criminal justice reform and sentencing.

HopeWorks of Howard County Step 1 Training for Community Members

Success In Style and Phils’ Closet in Savage Mill to provide professional attire to those in need. Donations of new or gently used suits may be dropped off at their Savage Mill location located at 8600 Foundry Street, #4 New Weave Bldg., Savage. Additional collection sites are:

Howard County Recreation and Parks is proud to sponsor the Community Sports Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame serves as a public museum to educate the public about cultural, historical and personal contributions and achievements in Howard County community sports. Nominations are being accepted to honor individuals who have gained notable and/or have made substantial contributions to Howard County citizens in local community recreational sports.   • Former State Senator Gail Bates, LP '90, has been nominated to the State Board of Education by Governor Larry Hogan. If confirmed by the Senate, she will serve as a board member until 2024.
  • Regina Clay, LP '11, has joined Congressman Elijah Cummings’ staff as the Howard County District Manager.
  • Congratulations to Jamison Hibbard, LP '18, and his wife who became the proud parents of a new baby girl, Ridley Quinn Hibbard, on January 30, 2019.
