March 2022 Newsletter
NOAS LOVES ADOPTIONS, AND THIS MONTH WE HAVE THREE TO SHARE WITH YOU.
Congratulations to these sweet families.
Marcus spent over 4 years in foster care before joining his forever family on February 16, 2022.
These two brothers are now able to stay together forever. They joined their forever family February 23, 2022.
Jamie finally had his adoption day on February 25, 2022 and is super excited to have a family to lean on.
MARCH IS SOCIAL WORKER MONTH
March is Social Work Month, and it is a wonderful time to honor this important profession.  Take time to learn more about the many positive contributions social workers make and celebrate all the social workers you know.  NOAS would like to recognize some of our favorite people and thank Wendy's Wonderful Kid Recruiters, OhioKAN Navigators, Permanency Planning Specialists, Bridges Liaisons, and all of the social workers who make such an impact on the children and families we serve.
NOAS’ Evening with Dominic Tocco & Brotherhood Celebrating Families and Children is right around the corner. This event will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 6-10 pm at The Lake Club in Poland. We are asking for wine, liquor, and coffee donations to help make this evening even more of a success. HEALTH AND WELLNESS TIP
Now is the perfect time to focus on healthy eating choices with our children. Children should know that making healthy food choices makes them stronger, gives them more energy, strengthens their bones, and keeps their hearts healthy. It is also important to remember that children look up to their parents, so parents can help them make the right choices. Parents should be positive role models for their children when making healthy eating choices.
