Dear friends,

Spring is almost here and we are looking forward to a new season of creative endeavors. Registration for spring and summer classes and camps is now open! The Jessie Wilber, Lobby, and Weaver Room galleries have compelling new exhibits on display. We also have exciting news about the Crawford Theater!

We invite you to scroll through this newsletter for more details. Best wishes in your creative aspirations!

The Emerson

Did you know that the Crawford Theater hosts events nearly 175 days a year? When was the last time you were in the Crawford Theater? Was it for a film, a play, perhaps a concert? OR maybe a child's dance recital, or a lecture. Did you notice the exceptional acoustics and enjoy the comfortable seating?

We are very proud of our theater, but it is time to rejuvenate the walls and the lighting! Our newest big project at the Emerson is raising the funds to repaint the theater, rewire the beautiful light fixtures, add three-phase power, and bring back features that speak to the original feel and appearance of our 100+ year-old theater.

You can help us make the Crawford Theater look as great as it sounds and feels! There must be hundreds of thousands of memories made in this community landmark. We would love to hear and share your favorite Crawford Theater story. Donations are always welcome!
Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project.
