New Online Communication Platform
Starting this Spring, EnglishUSA will be implementing a new, more robust online community called EnglishUSA Engage. The platform is the same used by TESOL and NAFSA and will allow for you to see a digest of messages in your email inbox and respond to the group or individuals directly .

We will start with an Open Forum Community and then move toward special interest communities after a 6-8 month review.

Call for Submissions & Reviewers
The EnglishUSA Professional Development and Activities Committee (PDAC) invites English language teaching professionals to become reviewers for the biannual EnglishUSA Journal. The journal serves as the medium for EnglishUSA to share best practices, address current issues and present research in the field of teaching English as a second/foreign language. Journal reviewers are instrumental in determining the contents and sustaining the quality of the journal by evaluating submissions according to the pre-established criteria.

Announcing 2020-21 Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce the results of the 2020-21 Board of Directors election. Thank you for all that reviewed and submitted a ballot. The incoming board members are listed in green .

Per the bylaws voted on by membership in June 2019, starting in 2020-21, the Board of Directors will be made up of Officers (Presidential Stream, Treasurer & Secretary) along with 7 at-large Directors. All will serve three-year terms, staggered so that 4 positions will be filled each election cycle.

NAFSA's IssueNet platform offers international educators two powerful tools to report trends from the field and obtain professional guidance on regulatory issues. All international education professionals are welcome to "Report an Issue" to NAFSA on the emerging obstacles or challenges they are encountering in the field.
