Current Kickstarter Campaigns Launched by Seattle FGI Members
Kick starter
Brands Iva Jean and Michael Cepress are just a couple of the local designers that have used Kickstarter to help fund and launch their business. Crowdsourcing is an alternate way to get financing, market read, and brand exposure.  Stay tuned for more info on an event that we are planning for this summer with the brand Iva Jean on how they successfully managed their Kickstarter campaign and made their dream a reality.  Plus meet their local production sources, and hear from Hub and Bespoke - one of their retail partners.

Right now you can check out the following campaigns on kickstarter.com-

Margaret Spencer has taken her DRES styling system to a new level by creating clothing that is built to flatter your body shape.  She just launched today and has 29 days to go to hit her $20,000 goal that will help her to produce her line.

TomboyX was created in response to Fran Dunaway's frustration with finding well fitting hip, casual and comfortable clothing when she hit middle age and found her body shape was changing. (Yes, it happens to everyone...even if you are active!).  They are halfway to their goal of $75,000 with only 11 days left to go.  All production is sourced locally here in Seattle.
