This event features chair yoga and meditation that is accented by vibrations that relax brain waves, lower heart rates, treat insomnia, and reduce anxiety. Great for seniors and people with some physical limitations. Tickets are $15 per person.  Learn more

In conjunction with the California Council of the Blind (CCB) and Sacramento Regional Transit, the next exhibit at the MACC will feature works by blind and low vision artists, as well as some tactile art for the blind. Learn more

This year's banquet will feature YouTube sensation and motivational speaker Tommy Edison from the Tommy Edison Project. There will also be a short performance by the Sacramento Banjo Band at the beginning of the banquet. Learn more

The American River Parkway Foundation and the California Council of the Blind (CCB) proudly present the first Fellowship Riverside Walk. The length of the walk will be approximately four miles for up to 45 people who are blind or have low vision. Volunteers needed!  Learn more

The VA Mather Farmers' Market occurs year-round every Wednesday and offers special deals for veterans.

Be part of an area-wide volunteer effort to improve and enhance our urban waterways. Trash and invasive plant removal and water quality testing all help support a healthy creek system. Learn more

April 7, 4:00 - 6:30 PM: Mather Field Centennial Celebration - Spring Concert

The Rancho Cordova Civic Light Orchestra will celebrate the centennial of Mather Field with a spring concert that features the Sacramento choral ensemble Camerata California and other special guests. The concert is free to the public. Learn more

April 20-21, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Rebuilding Together
Lincoln Village Neighborhood
Volunteers needed for a half, full or two-day shift. Tasks will include painting, yard improvement, cleanup, electrical, plumbing, carpentry
and more. The event will be followed by an end-of-the-day celebratory BBQ held at A.M. Winn Elementary School. Learn more
