What is a Limited Submission?...

 

A limited submission solicitation places a cap on the number of proposals Auburn may submit to a sponsor. Auburn coordinates limited submissions with notifications via this newsletter and competitions created in the Auburn University Competition Space (InfoReady). Limited Submission Announcements

National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) - Subject to the Availability of Funds


NCAE-C program actively engages in solutions to the challenges facing cybersecurity education through collaborative programs with higher-ed institutions. NCAE-C seeks to establish standards for cybersecurity curriculums and academic excellence across academic disciplines for cybersecurity competency development among faculty and students. Proposals to this solicitaiton must focus on an institution's commitment to the activity in the proposal, faculty and staff qualifications, and impact of the project.


NCAE will award one- to two-year grants for the following intiatives to an Individual Institution or a Coalition of Institutions:


  • Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity Curriculum - Coalition
  • Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity Solutions - Individual or Coalition
  • Research Grants (Priority areas - Cyber Hacking, Cyber Analytics, and Software Assurance) - Individual or Coalition
  • Regional Hubs - Coalition
  • Regions Investing in the next Generation Artificial Intelligence - Individual or Coalition
  • NCAE-C Community National Center - Coalition
  • NCAE-C Candidates and Peer Review National Center - Coalition



*** NCAE-C proposals must include in some capacity the involvement of the institution's NCAE-C-designated Point of Contact - Dr. Farah Kandah. If you intend to apply for this internal opportunity, please contact him to relay the plans of your proposal.
