International Women's Day
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific. #IWD2023 #EmbraceEquity

This easy-to-make black bean soup is filled with fiber, flavor, and big-time family appeal. Let everyone at your table pick and choose their favorite toppings. Spring Cleaning: A Good Thing!
National Cleaning Week begins each year on the fourth Sunday in March. It encourages everyone to clean their homes, closets, cars, storage lockers and offices. There are benefits to your health! A 2010 study conducted at UCLA observed that those who believed their home was cluttered had higher levels of the stress hormone, Cortisol.

Resources for Seniors & Families
The Comfort Keepers team works with many local organizations and programs that provide services for older adults. One example is the State of Illinois Community Care Program (CCP), which helps senior citizens, who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services.
