Utah Agriculture in the Classroom is supporting Utah teachers to attend the 2024 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference, June 24-27, 2024, in Salt Lake City.

The conference brings together teachers from across the country to learn from skilled presenters, engaging keynote speakers, agricultural literacy-related vendors, and from one another. The scholarship includes:
  • Full conference registration, June 25-27, 2024 ($485 value), includes:
  • Traveling workshops on Tuesday
  • All meals with the exception of Tuesday dinner
  • Onsite conference workshops
  • Double-occupancy hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City Hotel:
  • Check in Monday, June 24, 2024
  • Check out Thursday, June 27, 2024
  • Up to 26 hours for Utah Educator’s License renewal points

  • Utah certified PreK-12 teachers; all subject areas
  • Currently teaching in a Utah school
  • Planning to teach in the 2024-25 school year
  • Commitment to identifying resources to integrate agriculture in core content and instruction during the formal school day
  • A teacher is selected based upon the merit of their application.
  • Awarded teachers are to be present for the entire conference, checking into the hotel on Monday, June 24, 2024, and checking out of the hotel on Thursday, June 27, 2024. 
  • Scholarship winners will receive a special code to register for the conference; please do not register before you receive the code.

  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; it is strongly suggested that you submit your application early. Only complete applications will be considered. 
  • Applications will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, March 15, 2024.
