ICF 2020 ICF Award Recipients
|

The ICF Awards Program creates an opportunity to recognize contributions to the international camping movement. Individuals or associations can recognize their peers through several award nominations.
The Abbott Fenn Druzhba Award is a special recognition of an individual, camp, or organization, which has made a significant and sustained contribution to international camping. The endowed contribution for the award was made by Abbott Fenn, a long-standing, active member of the American Camp Association and former owner/director of the Keewaydin Camps in New England, U.S.A. The award is given to those who spread the benefit of the camp experience to improve world understanding.
In addition to the Druzhba Award, the Board has approved several nominations for the Butterfly and Merit Awards.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Because of COVID-19, camps are hurting. Become part of a brighter camp future by joining the international grassroots marketing campaign #ThanksToCamp.
By using #ThanksToCamp on your social media feeds, we will come together to give camp a voice.
HOW DOES THE HASHTAG #THANKSTOCAMP HELP?
The path to a brighter camp future is educating families and policy makers, and generating public awareness of the important role of camps in our world today. Think of a hashtag as a “flashlight”. The more that people use #ThanksToCamp when sharing their camp stories, the more those stories light up this path.
#ThanksToCamp dates for 2021: April 3rd – May 1st
