CONGREGATIONAL ANNUAL REPORTING

It is time to submit your congregation’s end-of-year statistics and update your current list of lay leaders at the following website: lc.lcms.org.

The deadline for congregation statistics and lay leader updates has been extended. You may also review your congregation’s profile and lay leader information anytime throughout the year to make sure your contact information, service times and other important data are current.

If you cannot remember the username and/or password you created previously for your congregation, follow the on-screen helps on the login page to recover your credentials.

DISTRICT PRAYERS
CALL UPDATE

Delegates, presenters and guests gathered earlier this week around the theme "A Living Hope in Christ". The time of Bible Study, fellowship and District business was a blessing to convention participants. The Convention Proceedings will be available in the coming weeks.

Free Ukrainian resources for sharing the Gospel: Great news! The Lutheran Heritage Foundation (a recognized service organization of the LCMS) has just gotten a huge shipment of books carrying two FREE new resources available in Ukrainian, including the classic children's Bible storybook A Child's Garden of Bible Stories and Best of Portals of Prayer. These materials are available to any LCMS church, mission or individual who wants to share the Good News with their Ukrainian-speaking neighbors. To order, send an email to info@LHFmissions.org or call the LHF office at (800)554-0723.

Life in Christ Lutheran Church, Grand Marias, MN, is excited to announce plans for a new building, with construction starting in spring 2025. The project aims to create a welcoming space for biblically based worship and fellowship while meeting the growing needs of the congregation.

“This new building is an exciting step for our church community,” said Pastor Watt of Life in Christ Lutheran Church. “It’s a space designed to bring life in Christ to all who enter, built with faith, teamwork, and a shared vision of God’s mission.”

Lutheran Early Response Teams [LERT]

TRAINING ~~ Immanuel Lutheran Church,

1258 Broadway N, Fargo, ND

Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 9am till 3pm

Free pancake breakfast and lunch will be provided to participants.

Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT) training events and resources are available for congregations and members of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) to serve their neighbors in times of need following a disaster.

While providing immediate support and long-term rebuilding assistance, disaster response also allows LCMS congregations and members to confess Christ to their community and the world.

A registration fee of $35 per person for the Training Event helps cover the cost of lunch and snacks, training materials, and a LERT T-shirt; $15 will be sent to LCMS Disaster Response to help cover the cost of materials and shipping. Registration for the training will take place through the LERT Volunteer site: lcms-lert.org. The website is where LERT volunteers can see opportunities for LERT training and deployments, and your DDRC will coordinate and communicate LERT activities in your district through the site. To get started, click the “Sign Up” button on the top right of the site.

Our District Disaster Response Coordinator (DDRC) is Kirk Rosin from St. Andrew Lutheran in West Fargo (701-361-6441; krosin@juno.com). He is responsible for coordinating all LCMS LERT training in the ND District. After training is completed, you will hear about upcoming opportunities to serve throughout the United States. Kirk also plans our ND District’s trips, such as the previous trip to Iowa in October, 2024.
