Ask anyone who was the first and strongest influence in their life, and most, if not all, will say their Moms. It is from our Moms that we form a moral compass and have the support to spread our wings and fly. Not just our moms but aunts, sisters, and, of course, grandmothers, all elevate our spirits and offer unconditional love. Let us celebrate these wonderful women in our lives every day, protect them, support them and recognize their greatness.

National Women's History Month
Women's History Month is a dedicated month to reflect on the often-overlooked contributions of women. From Abigail Adams to Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth to Rosa Parks, the timeline of women's history milestones stretches back to the founding of the United States. Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women's History Month.” These proclamations celebrate the contributions women have made to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history.

Put Some Spring in Your Clean by Recycling Home Chemicals

Save your shelf this spring by cleaning out home hazards from sheds, garages, and under sinks! But remember that any cleaners, paints, pesticides, and automotive products you may want to get rid of don’t belong in the regular trash or down storm drains where they can expose people, pets, and our environment to harm.

Instead, Palm Beach County residents can dispose of their unwanted chemicals at any of the SWA's seven Home Chemical and Recycling Center drop-off locations for FREE!
