On the first Friday in February, the face of RSDM changed for the annual Give Kids a Smile Day. That morning, students turned the school into a vibrant playground with decorations and activity stations for things like face painting and dental games for about 80 children from Newark schools.

Whether she is crafting a new smile for a patient or a new pair of hoop earrings for her jewelry business, Rebekah Webster, a third-year student, enjoys the artistry in her work.

RSDM organized its inaugural “Faculty Poster Day,” where faculty members had an opportunity to share their research with the community. The event held in the Oral Health Pavilion on Feb. 7, 2024, drew in students, faculty, and staff.

Exposure plays a critical part in career decisions. Because of that, RSDM offers pathway programs for different age groups to allow them to get an insider’s look into dentistry and dental school.

Tyler Jacobs and Ryan Levy represented RSDM at the North East Implant Symposium, which took place at Harvard University. Jacobs received the "Best Clinical Presentation" Award! Congrats! |
