Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

March is here, bringing with it the first signs of spring - longer days, new growth, and the promise of renewal. Just as nature awakens, we are invited to open our hearts to God's presence in our lives. As the season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5, let us be reminded to pause, reflect, and draw closer to Him. This is a time to fast, pray, and give alms. This month, let's embrace His guidance, seek His wisdom, and trust that He is leading us toward new life in Christ's Resurrection.

Please let us know how we can better serve you and your parish as we carry out our mission of evangelization to help parishes bring people to an encounter with Christ and a deeper appreciation of the Catholic faith. (Contact us at family@diocesepb.org)

May God's Mercy and Peace be with you and your family,

Cathy, Deacon Louie, Beth, Liliana, Andy,

Maria, Cindy, and Rosario

Again Lent's austerity is interrupted as we solemnly keep a feast in honor of the Annunciation. The Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord is a mystery that belongs to the temporal rather than to the sanctoral cycle in the Church's calendar.

FOSTERING LOVE for LENT

Weekly intentions for 6 weeks of prayer, fasting, and service

Join us this Lent as we pray for all those touched by foster care. Each week during Lent, pray for a different weekly intention as we ask for God’s blessing on foster and kinship families, biological parents, and children in care. Pray every day or once a week, meditate on the Bible passage, and try to complete the weekly challenge. Click on the logo below to view the weekly challenges.

“For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one. So, they are no longer two but one. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”
