Do you want to be a Patterson Library Star? You can be our Patron of the Month ! Come in and we will shoot a short 30-second video clip where you tell us what you like about the library, or we can take a photo and add a caption. We will feature your promo on our website and social media sites to help spread the word about Patterson Library! Just stop by, or call the front desk to sign up!   
Getting Your Library Card Is Easier Than Ever!
How to Get a Card

It's easier than ever to get a library card. Just come in with your photo ID and proof of your current address and fill out a registration card. Kids under 18 must have a parent with them.

Need it now? You can get a temporary card by gong to our website and clicking on "Get A Card" which will provide access to our online databases and downloadable eBooks and audio books. Just fill out the  registration form online and start using your card. It will be valid for 30 days.

To check materials out at the library and request materials online you will need to complete your registration and receive your permanent library card. This can be done by stopping by the library in person and presenting a photo ID and proof of your current address.

Middle School Battle of the Books Info Meeting

Grades 5 - 8
Battle of the Books is starting again. Come to this info meeting to find out more! You’ll meet your team members and coaches and find out what books you’ll be reading. Must be entering 6th grade to 9th grade in September 2019.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Friday March 15 @ 6 PM
Ages 4-7
Bring your favorite stuffed friend to the library for a sleepover! Don’t worry, you won’t be lonely at home because you will build a new friend and take them home with you. Your friend who spends the night will be very well taken care of and won’t get into ANY mischief! Come back on Saturday to pick them up, and find out what happens when the library closes at night.

Come and receive a henna design from The Tipsy Turtle Henna. Owner Amy Barresi has been providing all natural henna body art in the Hudson Valley for over a decade. Be aware that Henna provides a temporary stain on the body that will last 1-3 weeks.
