Recipe: One-Pot Lemon Garlic Shrimp


Ingredients

8 oz. Linguine or pasta of your choice

2 tbsp Olive Oil

8 tbsp Butter

4 cloves Garlic, minced

1 tsp Red Pepper flakes

1.25 lbs large Shrimp, peeled and deveined

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

1 tsp dried Oregano

4 cups Spinach

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tbsp chopped Parsley

1 tbsp Lemon Juice


Directions

  • In a large pot, boil water.
  • Add pasta and cook until al dente according to the package directions.
  • Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In the same pot, heat the olive oil and 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and red pepper; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp starts to turn pink but is not fully cooked, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Add the oregano and spinach. Cook about 1 minute.
  • Add the cooked pasta, remaining butter, parmesan, and parsely. Stir until well-mixed and the butter is melted.
  • Continue cooking until the shrimp is fully cooked, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice and mix.
  • Serve!

The Louie's team continues to be hard at work processing your wild game sausage orders! We will contact you when your order is completed - many orders are being finished each week. Thank you for your patience!


Louie's accepts boneless wild game year-round for processing. We use our award-winning recipes to make your wild game sausage!


Boneless venison may be brought to the Louie's Finer Meats main store (2025 Superior Avenue, Cumberland) during regular business hours. Clean, high quality venison in food grade containers only. No scented garbage bags or other non-food containers.


Do you make your own sausage at home? We can help you with that too! We carry the spices, casings, grinding meats, and advice you need.

Louis Muench of Louie's Finer Meats, Inc. recently demonstrated meat processing techniques to Unity High School Food Processing classes.

Students created custom-blended flavors of pork patties with Louis and enjoyed samples, too!
