Home Team Challenge
2000 Miles in 2021
Happy March! I hope everyone has had a safe and healthy winter. March Madness is upon us and we at the local covenant partnership of The Fuller Center for Housing are focused on raising funds for this wonderful "hand-up" nonprofit organization in support of home repairs for seniors. My personal fundraising commitment includes walking, hiking, swimming and biking 2000 miles in 2021 in support of housing for area seniors. Will you join me?
Partner With Me!
To achieve my goal, I need your help. By providing no-cost labor through our all-volunteer team, senior homeowners get the help they need to stay in the homes they love and age safely in place. Maine people pride themselves on self-sufficiency. The Fuller Center for Housing model honors that as program recipients contribute to the cost of materials over time. Still, the cost of materials is great and we depend on donations to ensure our work can continue. Read more about our work in this Portland Press Herald article.
