March Madness:
Our 2022-23, 2023-24 Pledge Drive Within a Week!
A New Day. A New Way.

March 24, 2022

Hello Beloved Members and Friends of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington (UUCB),

Our Pledge Drive will engage the spirit of March Madness by inviting all pledges to collected within a week, March 27th through April 3rd.  Join us in this slam dunk experience!

We begin this Sunday with a March Madness Sunday Worship Service at 10:15 a.m., including our choir in person!—singing "Basketball! A Court Jest," by Bayne Dobbins—as well as an in-person pep band; we have ear plugs for those with sensitive hearing.

Our Pledge Team Players are as follows:  Point Guard, Mary Ann Macklin; Guard, Susan Swaney; Guard, Drew Schrader; Center; JHC! (Joan Caulton); Forward, Emily Manvel Leite; Power Forward, Bill Breeden. Coach, Gladys DeVane!  Announcer, Sam Cusack, and other guest appearances.  Our Managers (Office Folks and Others) are working hard to make this a successful pledge drive within a week.

Know this. Your pledge creates the foundation for the vision of this congregation in these changing times.
Each Day: Seeking the Spirit. Building Community. Changing the World.

A New Day.

As this congregation confronts and dismantles racism, homophobia, sexism, climate change and other structures of injustice, we create…

A New Way.

This Sunday will be a memorable one! We hope to see many of you in person and also joining us via live stream. Please check your current pledge for 2021-2022 so you can plan your generous gift for next fiscal year. Click here for how to log on and check your current 21-22 pledge amount yourself.

Personally, nothing would make me happier than to have a successful pledge drive for next year. “We will raise $650,000,” said the point guard.

With love for all of you and this congregation, now and forever!
Mary Ann
