MARCH MADNESS AT THE LIBRARY
To say March is a busy month for Redwood City Public Library would be the understatement of the year! We have something for everyone, and we hope you can join us.
For adults and teens:
For children and families:
- A Hero's Journey, the final in the series that teaches children to face life's challenges like a hero - MAR 14
- KinderCard, our annual celebration of kindergarteners - MAR 14
- Drumming Circle Night a Library Takeover event at Fair Oaks Branch Library - MAR 20
- Owen Baker-Flynn, comedian and juggler - MAR 21
- Meet Laura Numeroff, beloved children's author - MAR 28
CENSUS 2020 - EVERYONE COUNTS
To ensure that all Redwood City residents are counted in the 2020 Census, your library is here to help. All library staff have been trained to answer questions about the purpose and timeline of the Census. We will provide support in English and Spanish at our Downtown Library and Fair Oaks Branch Library. Beginning mid-March, at each library location we will have designated computers for customers to complete the questionnaire.

NEWS FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
|
|
March Madness at the Library (see above) wouldn't be possible without support from the Friends of the Redwood City Public Library!
The Friends are dedicated volunteers that stock and staff the Downtown Library Bookstore and other sales every month. All proceeds fund our lively events at all branches. One of the events the Friends fund is Little Learners, and the kids recently put their hands together in thanks for sponsoring their program!
The Bookstore has two great booksales in March, a St. Patrick's Day feature and a Spring sale. Drop by for a great selection of low-cost and high-quality books.
