Members of the Lake County Chamber of Commerce receive many different opportunities to network with other business owners and leaders to develop relationships and grow their business. One of those benefits includes serving on our Board of Directors or on a Standing Committee.

Good news! We have a rare vacancy and are seeking a Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. We also have openings on the Marketing and Outreach Committee and the Business Education Committee. All of these committees meet monthly by zoom or in a hybrid format (offering both in person and zoom options).

We are really excited about some of the new programs that will help elevate Lake County businesses - and we need your help!

This week, Cal/OSHA finally released its much-anticipated model workplace violence prevention plan.

Since the passage of last year’s landmark workplace violence prevention law — SB 553 (Cortese; D-San Jose) — employers across California have been struggling to make sense of its complicated provisions before the July 1, 2024 effective date.
