Greetings Fellow T&C Families and Friends,

Our spring sports season is now in full swing, and it is great to have all the kids and families back on campus and having fun.

I want to thank all our coaches, sports leaders and volunteers for stepping up to help make T&C possible. For over 50 years it has been you and people like you that have created and run T&C so none of this would be possible without the hundreds of you that give of your time and energy to provide the thousands of children with the opportunity to play, learn and grow.

With the new season beginning I want to remind everyone that one of our primary missions here at Town & Country is to provide all children with a fun, safe place to come to run, play, and experience the joy of participating in sports and physical activity. So, although we all love our pets, for the safety of all our children and pets, no pets are allowed on the T&C campus.

And please always remember the message from our Children:

·        We are all KIDS here!!!

·        We all came to PLAY & HAVE FUN!!!

·        The Coaches are all VOLUNTEERS giving of their time!!!

·        The Umpires & Referees are HUMAN, and we all make mistakes!!!

·        It is very UNLIKELY any college or pro scouts will be in attendance today!!!

·        There will be NO SCHOLARSHIPS awarded to any players today!!!

·        So Please Be Supportive, Stay Positive & Enjoy watching us All PLAY!!!

It’s awesome to have so many familiar faces back and to have so many new families joining our community.  We are always planning other special events for our T&C family like our upcoming Dell Diamond night (April 12th), so I encourage you to follow us on social media, read your newsletters and check the website events page throughout the season to stay informed of other things going on throughout this season.

I hope you all have a great spring season and I will look forward to seeing you out on campus!

Please wear your T&C Spirit wear if you have it. Players must be in uniform to join the pre-game parade and on-field activities.

Gates open at 6PM and the Pregame Parade will begin at 6:15PM. Players will meet under the Main Score Board (located center field) for the parade so please plan to arrive early.

We just want to take a moment to recognize some of our Open teams.

The Town & Country Open Team Program (aka Select) is an extension of the Town & Country Baseball program and intended to offer players 9U – 16U an opportunity to play competitive tournament baseball.

This weekend, several open teams competed and battled hard, taking home hardware - let’s show them some appreciation!

Congrats to the GPS 13U - North on winning gold rings in their bracket this weekend!

Congrats to ATX Wild West, 13U Select Baseball and TCBC - The Club both for making their championship games and bringing home finalist rings!

Finally, shoutout and congrats to the TCBC Club 12U boys for making the semifinals in their bracket!

We are currently looking for Coaches, Commissioners, Board Members, and Game Day volunteers for the upcoming Spring sports programs. 

Safety Awareness and Upcoming Closure

Please drive slowly in and around campus as we have lots of activity and want to keep everyone safe. We’ve installed “wrong way” signs in the Morris parking entrances/exits to clarify which one to use as an entrance and which to use as an exit. We want to be good neighbors so ask that you do not climb over fences for any purpose because this is trespassing. We also ask Coaches/Commissioners to make sure field lights around campus are all turned off each night.

We’ve had a few complaints so want to make sure these don’t happen. Thanks for the help and being a good neighbor. Also, please be advised the campus will be shut down, and the fields will be closed during Spring Break. We appreciate everyone's participation in respecting our fields and remind folks we are a privately owned facility so unauthorized activity is considered trespassing. We look forward to welcoming everyone back March 24th!

Pet Policy Reminder

We love pets, however they are not allowed on our campus. People should not bring their pets to T&C Sports when coming to our facility for sports play. The City of Austin has a right of way for the hike and bike trail that runs through T&C Sports which allows for walking pets only along this cement trail. There are no pets allowed anywhere outside this cement trail.

Our neighbors, NASWC- the Neighborhood Association of Southwestern Williamson County are offering a $1,160.00 scholarship that will be awarded to one high school senior who is graduating from a public, private, or home school during the academic year OR one student currently enrolled in a college, university, or accredited technical/trade school.  

Applicants must reside in the household of a NASWC member (boundaries – Anderson Mill Road north to RM 620 (SH45) and Hwy 183 east to Parmer Lane) whose dues have been paid in full before submission of the application. Deadline to apply is April 30th.
