Water Meter System Replacement
tarting on Friday, March 22, the City of Buda will begin the process of installing and replacing the City’s water meter system. The new system will enable customers to see their consumption data in real-time as opposed to having to request their consumption data from the City.

Boards & Commissions

The deadline is approaching to submit applications for the City of Buda's various boards and commissions. Deadline to submit a completed application is March 31, 2019. This is your chance to get involved in City Government. Your service makes Buda better. 
Buda Trash-Off
The City of Buda will be participating in the “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off” this year! Gather your family, team, or come as an individual and get ready to help clean up Buda on Saturday, April 6, 2019!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Guess what's just around the corner? Get ready for this year's Annual Easter Egg. We'll have bounce houses, trackless trains, and of course an Easter Egg Hunt. It takes place at Buda Sportsplex from 9 AM TO NOON on Saturday, April 13. The Easter Egg hunt begins at 10:30 AM. 

Spring Fling at the Buda Public Library

Spring is almost here! While you are making plans for spring planting and spring activities, make sure to mark your calendar for April 13 from 2:00-4:00 pm for our Spring Fling event! Spring Fling will be held at the new Buda Public Library outside on the lawn!

Is a Budaful Thing

In the City's latest "Paying It Forward (Is a Budaful Thing)" video segment, Communications Director David Marino sits down with the family of Brynn Ashtyn Aylor. The Brynn Ashtyn Memorial Scholarship was established after the 16-year-old was killed in a car accident two years ago.

San Marcos Animal Shelter Public Meetings
This is your chance to weigh in on the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter's "Pawsitive Outcomes Implementation Plan." The shelter is developing a plan to achieve a 90 percent live outcome rate within five years. The City of Buda has been utilizing the shelter's services since 2012. There are three upcoming public meetings you can attend.

Safest Texas City
In Annual SafeWise Report
The City of Buda was ranked as the 15th safest city in Texas in the annual  SafeWise  Safest Cities Report. To identify the 50 cities with the best safety records, SafeWise analysts looked at the number of violent crimes reported in the 2017 FBI Unified Crime Report, the most recent data available.

Grant Applications
The City of Buda is accepting Human Services Grant applications. The deadline to apply is Monday, June 3, 2019.
