CTC-RI's January Clinical Strategy Committee meeting featured a session with Ann Greiner, President and CEO of the Primary Care Collaborative, where she delivered a candid and forward-looking assessment of primary care in the United States and what it means for Rhode Island. She brought national data, hard truths about payment reform, and a clear-eyed view of what advanced primary care can actually achieve when the right capabilities are in place. Her presentation did not just inform, it sparked action. A working group has already convened, priorities are being set, and Rhode Island is being named in national research as a state to watch.

Help Shape the Future of Community Health Workers in Rhode Island!
The Community Health Worker Association of Rhode Island (CHWARI) is conducting a member survey to better understand who CHWs in RI are, where they work, and the populations they serve. Legislators and decision makers have specifically requested this data, making your response a direct way to influence policy and advocacy efforts on behalf of the CHW community.
The survey takes less than 3 minutes to complete, and there are two versions: one for CHW members and a separate survey for allies, employers, and others who support the CHW workforce. Please choose the one that fits you best.
As an added incentive, respondents who complete the survey before March 20th will be entered for a chance to win a $75 gift card.
Please share widely with your networks so we can get as complete a picture as possible of Rhode Island's CHW landscape.
