PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Putting Out The Fire Now

Dear friend,

I was asked: “What is inflammation in the body?”

Imagine that you cut your finger. What happens? Immune cells rush to the area. Your finger gets hot, swollen, painful, and red. Check it out! The same exact thing happens in your brain, your immune system, and all over your body.

As far as the mind is concerned, when your mind feels the fire of inflammation and stress, it will be filled with anxiety if you’re not proactive.

What can we do to cool and soothe the mind? What steps can we take to calm our inner turmoil and find the peace of mind that so many people desperately seek these days?

If you want to obtain mental comfort, peace, and tranquility, then I recommend you take advantage of this week's Meditation Challenge that includes Kirtan Kriya.

Grab a load of blessings and come to our weeklong meditation challenge that began on Monday, March 9th and goes all week long... it’s FREE.

Our beloved meditation challenge is now world-famous. We have 5 superior leaders to guide you through the wonderful experience you’ll gain.

Don’t wait another minute. Calm the fires of inflammation that are seeping into our being, even if we don’t feel it fully….yet!

Come and join us for a truly rejuvenating and stress-releasing week.

We most certainly need it.

Yours in Brain Health,

Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.

President / Medical Director

P.S. Our research clearly reveals that Kirtan Kriya reduces stress big time and lowers the inflammatory chemicals that damage your body, mind, and soul.

OUTREACH SPOTLIGHT

Neuroscience and Yoga Online Conference

We are excited to have our research partner and ARPF Medical & Scientific Council Member, Helen Lavretsky, MD, present ARPF research at the upcoming Neuroscience and Yoga Online Conference. This event is open to the public and free. Want to learn deep insights from top researchers in neuroscience and yoga?

Dr. Latvretsky will share research on "Yoga, Mind-body Connections, Resilience and Brain Health." This conference is always excellent and ARPF is proud to be a sponsor.

BRAIN LONGEVITY® SPECIALIST SPOTLIGHT

Debbie Polisky, MBA, MS Nutrition, BLS

We are happy to introduce Debbie Polisky, a recent BLTT graduate. Debbie offers many programs around brain nutrition, brain health, and a truly holistic mind-body approach. Debbie has been serving people with a special focus on those most in need of community and support. She has simple goals for her clients: take a 10‑minute walk in nature each day to soak up Vitamin D, move the body, breathe more deeply, ease stress hormones, and lift mood. It is small acts like these – repeated and reinforced in community – that build habits that support brain longevity over a lifetime. Through the Brain Longevity Therapy Training and her creative, heart‑centred programs, she continues to show people that prevention can be life-changing, fun, and sustainable.

WEBINAR RECAP

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible turnout at our How Brain Health is Planetary Health webinar. It was a privilege to kick off our exploration of environmental wellness with such an engaged group. Here's what attendees were saying:

"I find these webinars extremely useful and appreciate the resources. In the webinar today, the nutritional information was excellent. In addition, I found the idea of "agency" exceedingly helpful for my mind and spirit. It really stood out and will help guide me in my practice. Thank you."

"Amazing presentation with AWESOME speakers. Both very knowledgeable! Can't wait to attend part 2 of the series. Also, thank you VERY MUCH for making this session free!"

"Not only are these programs educational and informative, they are truly inspirational, contributing to the highest good of all.

Dr. Fenn and Dr. Walling are incredible. Thank you!!"

We are deeply grateful to have visionary brain health leaders guiding this new initiative. This is just the beginning; soon we will announce parts 2 and 3 of the Air Pollution webinar series, so please stay tuned for future dates!
