PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Recap of Meditation Challenge

Dear Kirti,

We had another beautiful week of the Meditate for Your Memory Challenge! We are thrilled to see the benefits of this practice reach so many. Having hundreds of people meditating together is a big deal- it's tangible.

"Thank you so much – I’m improving my concentration bit by bit each time!"

"Thanks so much for introducing me to this. I have been practicing in the mornings and evenings. I have no experience with yoga or meditation but it has been so nice for my mental health and anxiety. Thank you!"

Below you'll see one of our Brain Longevity Specialists, Shiegko Sleeper, E-RYT introduce her class to our Meditation Challenge - we love to see the community in action!

We appreciate the engagement of participants at all levels of experience - from beginners to pros - and we are grateful to have facilitated a week of meaningful connection and shared practice. Our sincere thanks to all who contributed to another fantastic week.

Continue to spread the positive energy and light that you carry.

Yours in Brain Health,

Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D.

President / Medical Director

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

Nancy Berrios

This month, we would like to recognize Nancy Berrios for creating our beautiful Pink Brain ProjectTM White Paper.

“I chose to volunteer for ARPF because I truly admire its mission and the impact it has. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, to a project that makes a real difference is something that means a lot to me,” Nancy shared. Giving back, helping others, having a purpose, and connecting to your community are all vital components of brain health, and Nancy embodies these values through her volunteer work.

“Knowing that my work can bring something positive to others is incredibly rewarding. It’s also a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with inspiring people!” Thank you, Nancy! Read More.

DONOR SPOTLIGHT

Ann Forrestall, BLS

We are so grateful to Ann Forrestall for hosting a fundraiser in honor of her husband, John. She said, "ARPF’s holistic approach, grounded in research, resonated deeply. When I saw that the Brain Longevity Therapy Training is geared to not only medical and complementary service providers, but to yoga teachers, I knew I wanted to complete the program. It gave me so much to apply to my daily life as a person, wife, and caregiver. And to share and apply it with John, even if he didn’t realize I was doing so."

ARPF is humbled to honor John’s legacy and be a resource to the many who are going through this journey. We are thankful to Ann for being part of our community and empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to prevent and manage Alzheimer’s. Thank you, Ann, for your support and fostering hope for a future free from Alzheimer’s. Read More.
