Scheduled to open in three months is the 16,000-square-foot building at 4606 W. Boy Scout Blvd., which will include three establishments - a Lucky Dill restaurant, a New York Kitchen and Lounge that will double as a nightclub and a speakeasy-type bar called Stache House. MORE
Nicol Investment Co. acquired Crescent Westshore, the 375-unit apartment community located at 2202 N. Lois Ave. which opened last year. MORE
The 261-room Bay Harbor Hotel located at 7700 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway has completed the first phase of its multimillion-dollar renovation. MORE
CWU, a military contractor providing professional, administrative, linguistic and training support, is moving its existing 30 employees to the Westshore Technology Center at 5402 W. Laurel St. and expects to add 20 jobs by 2018. MORE
WhatSUP Paddle Sports, Westshore's new paddle board, kayaking and bike rental company, celebrated its grand opening at 7740 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway at Ben T. Davis Beach last month. 
The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners approved funding for the Project Development and Environment Study for West Shore Blvd., as well as several other road projects in the County's 10-year transportation plan.  West Shore Blvd.'s transformation  into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly grand corridor with wider sidewalks, shade canopies and public spaces is a Westshore Alliance Master Plan priority project.

General Motors Makers Hustle Harder Hackathon Tour made its first of three U.S. stops last weekend at Tampa Hackerspace, located at 4931 W. Nassau Street. Software developers had a unique opportunity to design and test their apps in GM vehicles located at the makerspace facility. More than 40 local developers participated, as well as teams from New York, Washington D.C. and Toronto. View Photos
