Transferring IEPs from Realtime Districts: Made Easier!

When Special Education data is transferred from a student's previous district, that uses Realtime for Special Education Management, the following sections of their IEP can be copied directly into the new district’s IEP:

Goals & Objectives

Modifications/Accommodations

District/State Testing Accommodations

Related Services

Present Levels (limited)

When future District-to-District Special Ed Data transfers are done, a “District Rollover” event will be created for the student. This event contains editable IEP sections, and after it is finalized, data from the sections referenced above will be able to be copied into the new district IEP.

eSign Requests Report

A new report has been added which allows staff to view the status of eSignature requests. This report can be run for different statuses such as "Document Request Outstanding" (when not all required signatures have been obtained) and "Documents Awaiting Approval" (when all required signatures have been obtained but the signed document has not been accepted yet). Click here for more information: Special Ed>Reports>Other>eSign Requests.

Special Ed Module Dashboard Widget

We have a new dashboard widget for our Special Ed Case Managers titled IEP Caselist Warnings.

This widget can be customized by clicking on the Gear icon at the top right of the widget to view the warnings by Student or Warning. You can also select to view Your Students or Your Team's Students.

To add this widget to your dashboard: click the icon on the Realtime homepage or in the upper right-hand corner of the Realtime Menu and then under the My Settings Gear icon select Preferences. Under the Special Education tab select the IEP Caselist Warnings widget and click Save.

While you are there check out the other widgets that may make your day easier. To find out more about your Preferences & Dashboard click here.
