Submit your Stories of Waveny!

As we prepare to celebrate 50 Years of Waveny on April 9, 2024, we would like to hear from you! We invite current and former residents, patients, families, volunteers, employees and community members to submit your memories of Waveny through the years. Do you have a story of the special care you or a family member received from our staff? Or the time you spent with a caring volunteer? Would you share photos of Waveny, past and present? If so, please submit them by April 1, 2024 to 50Years@Waveny.org for inclusion in our celebration slideshow!

Li-Garden Dance Company came to Waveny for a wonderful afternoon of classical Chinese dance, art and enrichment for the residents and families of our Care Center and Memory Care community. Caitlyn Yang, a frequent Waveny volunteer, made a presentation about the Lunar New Year and traditional arts such as paper cutting and calligraphy. The lovely afternoon was enjoyed by all!

The Caregiver Respite Program, operated by Waveny-Visiting Nurse & Hospice, is the beneficiary of this year's Wilton Women's Club Fashion Show Fundraiser! The Caregiver Respite program provides much needed support to those caring for critically ill family members at home, in the form of time away to shop, go to appointments, see friends or simply rest, while their loved one is being cared for.
