March 2018 Gunpowder Valley Conservancy
Adopt a Stream for Spring Cleaning
Would you enjoy volunteering outside and helping monitor local stream conditions? Become a Stream Captain through GVC’s  Adopt-A-Stream  program! We will work with you to choose a 1/4-mile section of stream in the Gunpowder Watershed to monitor and teach you how to “read” its conditions. We ask that you "clean" your stream twice a year and report results to GVC using a simple form.

First Adopt-A-Stream training is Saturday, March 17th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Baltimore County Game & Fish Protective Association (3400 Northwind Road, Parkville, MD 21234).

Register online or email Darcy Herman,  Clear Creeks Project  Assistant Manager.
