Connect with other ExchangeAlumni in Indianapolis!

In partnership with the U.S. Department of State Office of Alumni Affairs and Global Ties U.S., The International Center is hosting a two-day professional development seminar for U.S. citizen ExchangeAlumni.


This exclusive event will bring together up to 60 midwestern U.S. citizen ExchangeAlumni to help them apply their international exchange experiences and build their professional and community impact. Programming will include plenaries, breakouts, and workshops (plus some socializing!) designed specifically to enhance U.S. ExchangeAlumni skills and networks.

The International Center is honored to receive a $120,000 grant from the Brooks and Joan Fortune Family Foundation to facilitate the commission and installation of a unique art piece at the Indianapolis International Airport


The art is one of five special projects for The International Center’s 50th anniversary in 2023.

INTLCTR In Review

The Center was busy in the month of February:

February might be a short month, but The Center was busy working its mission across the state:


💡 Informing audiences at the Indiana State Library, Hamilton Southeastern High School, Bishop Chatard High School and more on various experiences overseas;


🌎 Convening Hoosiers to welcome international visitors, including the German Wine Queens in Jasper and visitors through the state department in Indy;


🤝 Connecting with groups like Burmese American Community Institute Inc and Ukrainian Society of Indiana to celebrate and honor their culture.
