Frozen to Death
Two men waiting at the pearly gates strike up a conversation. "How'd you die?" the first man asks the second.
"I froze to death," says the second. "That's awful, how does it feel to freeze to death?" says the first.
"It's very uncomfortable at first, you get the shakes, and you get pains in all your fingers and toes. But eventually, it's a very calm way to go. You get numb and you kind of drift off, as if you're sleeping."
"How did you die?" says the second. "I had a heart attack," says the first guy. "You see, I knew my wife was cheating on me, so one day I showed up at home unexpectedly. I ran up to the bedroom, and found her alone, knitting. I ran down to the basement, bot no one was hiding there. I ran up to the second floor, but no one was hiding there either. I ran as fast as I could to the attic, but just as I got there, I had a massive heart attack and died."
The second man shakes his head. "That's so ironic," he says.
"What do you mean?" asks the first man.
"If you had only stopped to look in the freezer, we'd both still be alive."

We're Delighted to Hear from Families About Our Exceptional Care!
A Satisfied Client's Review:
"We went with Visiting Angels because they were recommended and they
work well with VA [Department of Veterans Affairs]. We've had very good experiences with them. Right now, they provide light housekeeping to my mom. They give her lunch and companionship. I really like Claudette, her caregiver. She keeps Mom active. She's very caring, very sweet, very knowledgeable, and picks up certain things. My father recently passed and [before he passed away] she noticed some things right away and acted on it, which gave us some comfort knowing that they were being well taken care of. There was another aide who worked with us for awhile. He was extremely good, too."

Angels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees
We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...
Patricia L. has a cheerful, positive outlook which brightens our clients' days. She has been a dedicated Visiting Angels employee for 7 years, and has routinely shown an eagerness to work. She puts her best foot forward on every assignment. In her current assignment, our client has remarked that she treats him as though he were family, and shows much care in all she does.
Maria E. has been one of our steadfast Angels since 2016. She is flexible and willing to accept additional assignments, even in a pinch at the last minute. We are grateful for you and thank you for your hard work, Patricia and Maria!

certified home health professionals
, are ready to provide assistance with the activities of daily living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery, and to those who are simply frail. Our

Visiting Angels
' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue living at home safely. We understand how challenging the home care selection process can be. We're experienced in working with families, with loved ones resistant to receiving care, and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs).
