HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIPS

An Honorary Life Membership is a nice way to honor someone who has been supportive of your PTA. If you would like to have this presented at the P&P Luncheon, follow the directions below. This will have the Life Membership sent to me so I can include it on the script for the luncheon. If you would like to present the membership at an event at your school, you can follow the same directions EXCEPT....you will want to use your name and address under applicant information.

1. Go to FloridaPTA.org.
2 .Click on Leaders and then in the drop down box. Click on Awards.
3. Click on Florida Awards
4. Near top of page click on the words "Click here for all PTA Awards'"
6. Click on Hoonrary Life Memberships.
7. Where is says applicant information, use this:

Presentation Date: May 15, 2018

Vicki Drake

If your honoree already has an honorary Life Membership, you could choose to give them a "brick" which will be placed in the courtyard at the FPTA office, or you could give them a National PTA Lifetime Achievement Award. The brick is found under Awards and it is titled "History Walk of Fame." The National Award is found by clicking on National Awards. Again, if you want it presented at the luncheon, just use my address. If you have questions, please feel free to call or email me.

If you will send me an email when you mail your application, I will be on the lookout for it to arrive. And I will send you an email when I do receive it so you can mark it off of your to-to list.

We cannot present Awards that are handed to us the day of the luncheon. We need to have them beforehand so we can get them in the script and make sure that no one is overlooked. Getting these in the mail as soon as possible, ensures that they come back in a timely manner. Thanks!
REMINDER. . . .

Please remember that PTA is a noncommercial, nonsectarian, and nonpartisan association. Board and membership rosters should be used for  PTA purposes only.  If you choose to participate in any campaign as an individual, do not use your PTA affiliation in conjunction with the activity.
