Now that we've had our rest and time to adjust to the new energies and frequencies for 2022, it's time to start shaking things up and apply action and momentum to all those changes and intentions we set. What better way to accomplish this than to change our mind and body's concept of time...get us out of our complacent ways, embrace something new. We will get some help with this as we spring forward this month!

We are back from our annual buying trip to the 67th Tucson International Gem, Mineral, Jewelry and Fossil Show. The show seemed to be back to full speed with attendance by both buyers and vendors returning to pre-covid numbers. What fun to see all those familiar faces (even though most were partially covered with masks) and get to exchange industry developments and changes. We were successful in finding most all goodies that were on our list. We will be sharing all our new purchases with you in our upcoming 16th Annual Tucson Spring Trunk Sale preview, so be sure to adjust your subscription settings HERE if you want to get the preview and weekly show updates! This year our much anticipated trunk sale is set to begin on April 1st. and will run until the end of the month.

We were excited to add several new vendors to our list of over a thousand businesses and mine owners that we do business with. The main hurdle we have had to tackle since returning from the show is getting all the product home. Even though we have adjusted to receiving and processing inventory basically on a weekly basis, the volume of inventory and timely delays of our orders being shipped from the show is proving to be challenging. In rolling with ongoing operating changes, our annual Spring Tucson Trunk Show will be starting April 1st and going for an entire month. I promise it will be worth your wait as we were able to find so many out-of-stock items plus a great variety of new and unique minerals. It is noteworthy to mention that certain minerals that have been hard to find in the past few years, such as Fluorite and Natural Citrine from Africa, seemed to be readily available this year. Whereas, the ever prevalent Citrine cathedrals from Brazil, which are usually everywhere, were hard to find. You may want to plan on snagging your must-have Citrine cathedral from what is available now at our old prices. A special thanks to Zee for the double terminated Smoky Citrine Manifestation crystal I was gifted in Tucson; keep an eye out for new Smoky Citrine we also got for the store!

This month is full of religious observations, Fat Tuesday (aka Mardi Gras) on the 1st, the beginning of Lent (aka Ash Wednesday) on the 2nd, Saint Patrick's Day on the 17th as well as Purim, a 2 day Jewish celebration also beginning on the 17th. I would like to give a shout out to International Woman's Day on March 8th and the celebration of March as Women's History Month. Being a solely women-owned business that started from a credit card, Nature's Treasures actively celebrates the more than one million women-owned businesses in the retail industry. That being said, Mother Nature also deserves a shout-out! The Ides of March on the 15th (the first day of Spring in the Roman Calendar) is tied to the Spring Equinox on March 20th. Another name for the Spring Equinox is Sun-Earth Day, a term jointly coined by NASA and the ESA to educate the public about how the Sun affects life on Earth. Although Earth Day is celebrated in April, it was proposed in 1969 and formally signed into existence 3/21/1971. It was established in the hope and belief that we, who are so dependent on a future earth to live on, will take the responsibility of caring for our environmental and natural resources.
