Announcing the top student winners of the 2025 "Leave The Scene Clean" Art Contest! The illustrations will be enlarged and appear on the side of a Lee County Waste Pro truck and printed on reusable tote bags which will be available in the Fall. The four overall winning students were: Grade K-3 winner Daniela Rodriguez Rodriguez from Mirror Lakes Elementary; Grade 4-6 winner Cathy Cheribin from Three Oaks Middle; Grade 7-9 winner Alejandra Alfonso Sanchez from Mariner Middle; Grade 10-12 winner Mia De La Cruz Matos from North Fort Myers High School. It was the biggest turnout yet for the 10th annual Tunaskin Beach Keepers Club cleanup on Fort Myers Beach. Over 400 volunteers removed nearly three tons of garbage and debris. We are deeply grateful to Tunaskin for their ongoing support. A huge thank you to all who played a part!
