Going Above & Beyond | Tile Roof Mockup

Our Sarasota team, led by Bastien Gauthier, recently completed a clay tile roof mockup featuring Ludowici to help guide the client’s final selection of tile profile and color.

Mockups like this are a key part of premium roofing projects, allowing homeowners and builders to see how materials look in natural lighting and how they complement the home’s design before final installation.

At Evans Roofing, we take pride in going the extra step to ensure every detail aligns with the client’s vision while delivering the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.

Keep Learning. Keep Leading!

At Evans Roofing, growth doesn’t happen by chance. It happens through continuous learning and strong industry relationships. Our Broward team recently attended the RCASF Educational Training Day, gaining valuable insights into new roofing systems, evolving safety practices, and the industry trends shaping the future of construction across Florida.

Training and networking aren’t just events, they’re opportunities to sharpen our skills, exchange ideas with fellow professionals, and bring proven best practices back to the job site. This commitment to ongoing education helps ensure every project we deliver reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism.

We remain dedicated to investing in our people, strengthening our partnerships, and staying actively engaged in the roofing and construction community.

At Evans Roofing, we believe the more we learn, the better we build, and the stronger we serve our clients and communities.

Rising Prices!

Roofing Market Update: Why Prices May Rise

Suppliers have already announced up to 10% price increase on selected materials starting materials.

Energy prices are climbing

Oil volatility tied to the Iran conflict is increasing costs for petroleum-based roofing materials like shingles, underlayments, adhesives, and coatings.

This impacts everything including shingle & underlayment

Higher diesel and fuel costs are driving up manufacturing, packaging, and freight — even for U.S.-made products.

Shipping disruptions emerging

Global tension is tightening supply chains, leading to longer lead times, higher insurance costs, and potential delivery delays.

Steel and aluminum prices may rise due to increased production and transportation costs. Impacting metal roofs, gutters, and edge metal.

Costs were already rising pre-conflict

Construction pricing was unstable heading into the year, meaning this adds fuel to an already pressured market.
