About the Event:
The Zoom Duck Derby is our signature fundraising event, bringing together community leaders, businesses, and families to support our mission.
This year, the funds raised from Zoom Duck Derby will help expand opportunities for skill-building within our workforce development programs. At Alpha, we foster independence and empower individuals to meet their employment goals. We know that a quality job in a kind and inclusive environment improves mental health, leads to financial stability, creates friendships, and provides a sense of purpose. With a successful event, we plan to put our workforce development program on a path toward long-term success.
Rubber ducks are $5 each, and the first three ducks to cross the finish line win up to $1,500! Duck sales start on April 1.
There is plenty to do while we wait for duck sales to open!
- Become a sponsor! We have many ways to get involved and each sponsorship level comes with tickets to the event. Sponsorships start at $100.
- Promote the event by hosting our 5-foot inflatable duck. Waddles can be placed inside your lobby or outside your front door. The Waddles Tour starts on April 1 - contact us to get on our schedule!
- Promote the event by becoming a Duck Adoption Site. We will supply you with adoption forms, flyers and paper ducks for donors to write on and display.
