Whether the answer is oui or non, join us for French Fest: A Celebration of French-Speaking Cultures.

During the event, festival-goers of all ages have an opportunity to enjoy many activities – all with a “French” twist: wine tastings, live music and dance performances, international cuisine, book sales, informative seminars and demonstrations, a “best baguette” contest and more. There will be many activities for children, including voting for the graffiti themed art contest!

We are thrilled to once again have Emmanuel Lebrun-Damiens speak during our opening ceremony at French Fest. We will also have the honor of hearing from Seattle Center Director Robert Nellams. Local dignitaries who represent the Francophonie have also been invited.
With the support of Consulate General of Canada in Seattle , we are thrilled to introduce you to our MC for Seattle's French Fest, Frédéric Choinière ! He has an impressive background in TV and Radio and we excited to have his talents at the event!

French-American Business Awards: May 2020

Thank you to all who have reached out asking when the next French-American Business Awards ceremony would be held. Due in part to the growth in trade services we have seen over the last year and the increase in incoming and outgoing delegations taking place this spring, the decision has been made to move FABA to a bi-annual calendar. This means that the next event will take place in May of 2020. If you would like to help plan the 2020 event, email info@faccpnw.org.

Community Events
The Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association and the Duwamish Tribe will bring the Spirit of the Duwamish Longhouse to the people of the world at Les Floralies Internationales, the largest flower and garden show in Europe. Join them on March 15 at 7:30 pm at Deep Sea Sugar and Salt to meet members of the Seattle-Nantes Sister City Association, the team behind the design, and see the design plans and digital rendering of the exhibition garden that will be on display in France.

Join the French Immersion School of WA on March 30 to learn about their bilingual, immersion preschool program and to meet their teachers, parents and alumni. Discover how and what students learn at different ages by taking a journey through the grades, visiting a preschool, an early elementary, and an upper elementary classroom. Gain insight into the overall curriculum of each of the three cycles and enjoy participating in an activity in each classroom. Please RSVP to admissions@fisw.org if you are able to attend.

CICD seeks a motivated intern to assist their International Programs Manager. CICD is a U.S. Department of State-designated J-1 program sponsor organization based in Seattle. They facilitate international internships, training and work and travel programs for qualified international participants from around the world. Learn more about the position here .
