March Newsletter
Hello World Cup Parents!

The past month has been a busy one for World Cup!  Our Boys Team had two  major competitions back to back as did some of our Girls Team.

Following the Boys' meet at the Brian Babcock Invitational, they
participated in the Beast of the East at Hotshots Gymnastics on Long Island.  Many boys came away with individual event titles.  Our youngest competitor,  Dylan Davenport, won the Level 5 All Around competition while also taking  1st on Floor, Parallel Bars and High Bar. He was the youngest gymnast  competing in his Level.  Our other All Around Champion, Curtis Bett, almost
swept all of the event titles in Level 9. Curtis won Floor, Pommel Horse,  Rings, Parallel Bars and High Bar. The Level  10 Team placed 2nd. Coach Bob and Coach Jason were pleased with the team's  results. It's still early in the season and we are working out all of the  kinks.

Last week, members of our Girls Team escaped the (first) Nor'Easter and made  their way to sunny West Palm Beach Florida, for their first ever trip to the  Tim Rand Invitational. Coach Matt and Coach Jenna were overall very pleased  with how our Girls performed at the Rand Invitational. The competition is  at another level whenever you travel out of state, let alone region, and  Florida was no exception! When our girls weren't competing, they were  soaking up the sun at the beach and pool! The fun in the sun was  short-lived, however, as the Team returned home and could not escape the  next Nor'Easter.

Bringing 25 years of gymnastics to Westchester !

For those who didn't know 2018 marks World Cup Gymnastics' 25th Anniversary!

To celebrate, we'll be posting photos and memories of s taff, gymnasts, and families that continue to make World Cup a wonderful place to be. If you have any old    photos that you think people would enjoy seeing, please feel free to send them over to

Also, if you've trained at WCG and continued your training to higher levels, we'd  love to celebrate your achievements!  Please send  photos that you
may  have  from now and then.

Most importantly, we hope you enjoy this celebration with us and get a kick out of seeing old  pictures of our staff and gymnasts!
Don't Miss our Spring Break Special Days!

Here is how to make sure that your children have the best possible spring break (or what is left of it!).  Send your kids to World Cup Gymnastics! Each day is going to include lots of gymnastics and activities built around the cool theme of the day. Don't hesitate... sign up today under "Camps" on the Parent Portal.

Monday, April 2nd: Pizza Mia! We will decorate chef hats and bake a special pizza cupcake!
Tuesday, April 3rd: I'm Egg-Static!  Join the party as we decorate wooden eggs and snack on a brownie birds' nest with jelly beans!

Wednesday, April 4th:  Flower Power.  Spring is on its way, and we're ready for some flower power! We will create spring flower sun-catchers and eat dirt-cups with marshmallow spoon flowers!

Thursday, April 5th: Superhero Party!  Let your child become their favorite superhero for the day! We will decorate our very own superhero masks and feast on "wonder dogs" (pigs in a blanket).

Friday, April 6th:  Rock Around the Clock.
Rock the day away with us at World Cup! We will be beading necklaces with musical charms and enjoying musical cake pops.
Parents, enjoy your very own night out by dropping your kids at the gym for a few hours in the evening! Kids Night Out is open to kids 3 (potty trained) through 12, and runs from 6pm to 10pm. Every Kids Night Out has a theme, and we (obviously) do gymnastics, play fun gym games, create an art project, and watch a fun movie to end the night!
