ACT Survey

Arundel Conservation Trust is reflecting on the past nine years of connecting conservation with community, and looking ahead to how we can continue to serve our community! We are updating our strategic plan to guide our work in the years to come. As part of this effort, we are seeking input from our community members and supporters.

You are invited to take a brief survey to share your insights and ideas. Your feedback will help us assess our current programs and resources, better understand community needs and priorities, and shape a shared vision for the future for our lands, programs, and offerings.

In the coming weeks we will be sharing a link to the survey via email, socials and post card (to Arundel residents). You are invited to participate in the survey now by clicking the button below.

Winter Story Time and Outdoor Activity

Grab the family and join us at the Arundel Town Hall Meeting Room for a winter story read by Miss Sandy. After we finish reading we will head out to the ACT Community Trails for a winter activity!

Please arrive at 3p as we will begin the story soon after. Feel free to check on the fairy houses and enjoy hot chocolate after our activity.

Kids, be sure to bring your adults and winter outdoor gear!

Registration is not required but encouraged to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone. Please register through Arundel Parks and Recreation here.

While all ages are welcome this event is best suited for elementary age children.

This month's #DogsofACT is Beau!

Beau is a 6 year old GWP who loves to run on the trails, hunt for grouse, play with his little brother, Cosmo.

Head over to our Instagram to read more about Beau and see some more photos of him enjoying the snow!

This month's blog is about Maine Big Night.

Learn about the organization, why ACT supports them and find out how you can help! Hint: there is more info below, too.

As the days get warmer and the nights stay cool the trails can get really icy. Bringing safety gear can help immensely. Be sure to have a few of the following:

-Hiking poles

-Crampons

-Waterproof boots

-Gaiters

-Thick, natural fiber socks

Check out the blog linked above to learn more about Maine Big Night.

This year ACT, Kennebunk Land Trust and Kennebunkport Conservation Trust have adopted a site together! We are looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to come out with us between March 15 and May 15 to participate in MBN.
