"SHOOT FOR SILVER" UPDATE

Due to scheduling conflicts, the "Shoot for Silver" trap event has been postponed. A new date is actively being pursued and we will notify you as soon as it is booked. Keep your eyes peeled, you're not going to want to miss this opportunity to shoot a registered Trap competition at your home club! If you have questions, please contact John Mattera at (208)930-1329 or email him at [email protected]. You may also get info from Kory, our club manager.

Our Board of Directors would like to encourage club members to attend meetings of the Board of County Commissioners and Airport Board whenever issues related to the club are scheduled to be discussed.

  • Big shout out to the following volunteers without which we wouldn't be the fantastic club that we are:

Greg Wrigley and Tom Bosanko for driving to Oregon to pick up four tons of shot that will be available to members for purchase. Price is $48.63, plus tax.

Ben Higgs for continuing to work on NRA grant proposals to obtain one trap machine and one voice call system.

Stefan Harvey for working on the club’s 501(c)3 non-profit status change with the IRS.

Becky Pestarino for stepping up to serve on the club's Board of Directors.

Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, beginning at 5 p.m. Members are encouraged to attend.

Winter hours are now in effect on Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 4 pm and weekends from 9 am to 4 pm.

Machines on the 5 stand field are undergoing periodic maintenance and are in need of new batteries and chargers. Kory requested the club purchase a new battery bank charger and replacement of batteries as needed for the 10 machines. Request was approved.

The 5 stand field is the most labor intensive venue to open, close and maintain at the club. More volunteer help is needed to assist in loading the machines and opening and closing the fields each day. If interested in helping, please contact Kory.
