...the PROCESS of CHANGE..
and power of THOUGHTS...
While finalizing my thoughts and ideas for this month newsletter, it occurred
to me that after exploring our EMOTIONS (last month) and Emotional Intelligence,
it's only right to expand our awareness into the next realm, more complex and more powerful Intelligence, the realm of THOUGHTS...
"Thought is the greatest power we have. Thought controls the physical, financial, moral, spiritual, in fact, all the conditions of life. Since man has such a great power at his disposal, why does he not change as he wishes? Because of concentrating too much on the limited sources of sustenance of body and mind, and because of not fully using the greater
power of thought". - says P. Yogananda.
(I would like to expend on this in a moment...)
Then he continues:
With growing realization that life is a series of changes, we also become aware that we have to go either backward or forward as we adapt ourselves to each new change. It is impossible to remain stationary. A man immersed in the ocean has to keep moving; otherwise he will drown. To avoid drowning in the ocean of life also necessitates
change on our part."
So, to make change in life that brings progress requires "thinking" process. And every moment we have a choice, to look forward in life to what's possible, or backward.
There are two types of thinking processes or Thought Intelligences that we use, Lower Mental or the "Thinker", and Higher Mental or the "Optimizer". Our awareness of their differences has to be clear and not scrambled, which will serve us greatly in the process of Change. The "Thinker" thinks this or that, good or bad, daily tasks, routines, keeps us in Energy Neutral, resist the change, doesn't want growth, and maintains status quo. The "Optimizer" on the other hands, constantly looks for opportunity to grow to evolve, to become a better person, better human being and global citizen. It runs on Energy Rich(it's like better quality of fuel), it's optimizing our life, our circumstances, relationships. It's always looks "what's the best scenario here for everyone involved?"
We have both, Thinker and Optimizer, within us.
The only difference is which one you give more attention to, and that primarily will determine your outcome.
There is an art and science to a fundamental change.
I invite you to join me this month in exploring further the Thought Intelligence, Process of Change, and Re-organizational Healing
how our thoughts affecting and creating our reality...
how our stories that we telling ourselves hold us back and create suffering...
(it's not the experience, it's the story about the experience that creates suffering!),
what else involved in the process of change,
why we haven't changed as we wished,
is it possible for change to be effortless,
how to turn our stories into THE Story!
and become the Heroes of our journeys...
so we can say with conviction
"I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul" -
