MPI New Jersey is excited to return to Atlantic City for our 3rd Annual MEETS Conference April 3-4. We are equally excited for the opportunity to support the Atlantic City Rescue Mission during the event.
The AC Rescue Mission is the largest provider of services for the homeless in southern New Jersey. The organization’s goal is to share the Gospel and to help meet the physical, emotional and other basic needs the of the underprivileged and those who are bound and bruised by addictive lifestyles in Atlantic City and the surrounding communities. The mission provides shelter, food, clothing and counseling and work readiness programs. More information on the Mission can be found on the link below.
During the MEETS Conference attendees will assemble care packages filled with toiletries and non-perishable food to be distributed to the people served by the mission. We will also be collecting new and gently used clothing of any size for adults and children so save some room in your suitcase for clothes to donate. Monetary donations to the AC Rescue Mission are always needed and can be made via the MEETS registration website (below) or onsite at the conference.

MEETS CONFERENCE
Established in 2021, the MPI New Jersey MEETS Conference attracts professionals in the meetings, events, hospitality, travel, and sales industries from across the tri-state area. An anticipated 150 attendees will gather at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City on Monday, April 3, 2023 & Tuesday, April 4, 2023, with exclusive and fun conference parties, site visits, and more.
A host of knowledgeable subject matter experts will complement an engaging supplier and buyer trade show during this time of learning and networking. This mix will give attendees access to must-have information as the meetings industry powers back strong!

GLOBAL MEETINGS INDUSTRY DAY
Please join our friends at PCMA Philadelphia for Global Meetings Industry Day on Thursday, March 30, 12:30pm-6:15pm ET at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. MPI New Jersey is a Supporting Partner for this meeting and we encourage our members to attend. This GMID event will focus on the importance of meetings, future trends, timely issues and practical solutions.

MPI New Jersey's Signature Golf Event is back for a 25th year! We are excited to play one of New Jersey's best golf courses again, Wild Turkey at Crystal Springs Resort, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
For the past 25 years, our MPI New Jersey Golf Event has been a premier networking event that brings together those in the hospitality community and takes business out of the office and onto the golf course. What is your favorite thing about our industry?
What I love most about the event industry is the entire process of event planning, from brainstorming and conceptualizing to execution. I thrive on the thrill of working alongside other event professionals and my clients to bring their visions to life. There's nothing like the rush of seeing it all come together and the doors open to reveal an unforgettable experience for the guests. It's a great balance of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, and it keeps me energized and motivated every day. Bringing people together and creating lasting memories is my ultimate goal, and the event industry allows me to do just that!
What is the biggest challenge you have faced in your career and how did you overcome it?
Overcoming my fear of public speaking is one of the greatest challenges I encounter in my career, as I am more comfortable working behind the scenes than being in the spotlight. Despite this, I have had numerous opportunities to speak in front of groups of people due to my involvement in various organizations. While it has been a daunting task, I refuse to let my fear hold me back from achieving my goals.
