Committee Reports

Finance Committee

January:

Pledged                                 $47,000

Non-Pledged                         $3,000 non-pledged

Unrestricted Income          $50,000

Operating Expenses            $22,000

Net Operating                  $28,000 gain

Personnel and Admin expenses were fairly normal, but Building expenses were only about $500. An invoice for $49,700 was received during the month from MATCO for the fire suppression system project. This invoice was funded $14,000 from the building repair fund (Fellheimer grant money) and $35,700 from the building fund (Faithful Foundations donations). The building repair restricted fund now has a balance of about $26,000 with $25K of this balance representing the Fellheimer grant designated for the parking lot. After these funds are expended the remaining costs of the projects will be charged to the building fund where Faithful Foundations gifts are being deposited. Memorial funds received $1,080 in gifts during the month.

Education Committee

The Education Committee met last week on February 19th to discuss several key initiatives for our upcoming seasonal programming. Our conversation focused primarily on the children's programming for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, initial planning for Vacation Bible School, and the structure for Children's Church starting next fall.

I will follow up soon with more specific details and any required next steps resulting from these discussions. Please let me know if you have any immediate questions regarding these topics. - Joan Kling

Trustees

Trustees met February 19. Matco finished the fire suppression system upgrade on February 20th- volunteers retouched up the painting on the top pipe in the atrium and sanctuary. Also, light bulbs have been changed in the atrium and sanctuary. A few of the lights will need to be looked at by another electric company. We reviewed the bids on the parking lot, a decision has yet to be made regarding the bids - going to review the bids further.

Missions Committee

Mission Committee did not meet in February. They will meet in March.

Thank you to everyone that volunteered and contributed to the Soup and Sandwich lunch!
