This month, we’re reminded of how lucky and truly blessed we are to be part of such an incredible community. Fun Time Academy is more than a school—it’s a family made strong by our dedicated staff, supportive parents, generous volunteers, committed donors, and valued community partners.

This month has been filled with laughter, creativity, and joyful learning. From silly moments during circle time to exciting hands-on activities and outdoor play, there is so much fun woven into each day. These moments of joy are where meaningful learning truly comes to life.

Each day, our teachers nurture and inspire, our families trust us, and our volunteers, donors, and partners help make our mission possible. Because of this collective support, our children are able to learn, grow, and thrive in a caring and enriching environment.

We are deeply grateful for the trust, time, and generosity that surround our organization. Together, we are building a brighter future for every child—and we feel so lucky to share so many fun, memorable moments along the way.

Warm regards,

Kensington Country Club Volunteer Day

We loved welcoming 15 wonderful volunteers from Kensington Country Club to Fun Time Academy for a special Volunteer Day!

They spent the afternoon with our VPK classes, creating flower bouquet crafts and making sweet memories. A huge thank you to Kensington for spending the afternoon with us and making it so memorable!

Exciting News from the Early Learning Coalition

We are excited to share some fantastic moments as Faydra proudly presented Ms. Gina with the VPK Teacher Award in recognition of her outstanding achievement as the third best teacher in Southwest Florida! This is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate her dedication and passion for early childhood education.

Ms. Gina has been with Fun Time Academy for two years and teaches VPK at our Golden Gate location. One of the many ways she has excelled is through her innovative use of the Marco Polo app, which has helped bring learning to life for our children in fun and meaningful ways.

Congratulations, Ms. Gina, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for the positive impact you make every single day!

Dr. Seuss Week

Dr. Seuss Week was truly a memorable and magical experience for everyone at Fun Time Academy!

Our students had a wonderful time diving into a world of imagination through themed activities, vibrant decorations, and plenty of laughter along the way. Each day brought something new and exciting, from enjoying green eggs for breakfast and participating in a fun Spirit Week, dressing up in outfits inspired by Dr. Seuss themes and characters. It was so special to see our little learners fully immersed in the fun, expressing themselves through art, play, and storytelling.

Thank you, David and Colleen!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to David and Colleen for taking the time to visit our Poinciana location and share their wonderful gift of music with our students. Their presence brought an extra spark of excitement to the day, and it was truly inspiring to see everyone come together through song.

Fun Time Academy Spotlight: Our Site Directors

This month, we’re shining a bright spotlight on our incredible Site Directors—the driving force behind the success of our four locations. Through their leadership, dedication, and unwavering support, they ensure each site runs smoothly while fostering positive, welcoming environments for our staff, students, and families. Their impact is felt in every detail every single day.

Jessica Chavez: As the Site Director at Santa Barbara, Jessica values being part of Fun Time Academy for the opportunity to build meaningful connections with children, parents, and staff. She appreciates working within a collaborative school community that embraces strategies, tools, and services designed to positively support and guide both children and families.

Kelitza Cruz Oliveras: As the Site Director at Poinciana, Kelitza finds the greatest joy in watching children grow, learn, and discover new things each day. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see their confidence and curiosity blossom over time. She is also grateful to work alongside a supportive and dedicated team that truly cares about each child’s success and well-being.

Kyendae Pinnock: As a Site Director at Golden Gate, Kyendae is dedicated to creating welcoming, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. What she values most about working at Fun Time Academy is the lasting impact the program has on children and their families. She has witnessed meaningful development not only in the children but also in the families served. Families have become increasingly involved and connected—sharing milestones, participating in events, and supporting one another as a true community. This strong sense of togetherness is what makes her work especially meaningful.

Sherry Stanley: As Site Director at Downtown, Sherry is deeply passionate about her work in childcare. What she values most about Fun Time Academy is the strong sense of family—where children, parents, and staff support one another. She is grateful to be part of a team that helps children grow, learn, and reach important milestones each day.

At the beginning of the month, we celebrated with Dr. Seuss-inspired activities! The children enjoyed green eggs for breakfast and participated in a fun Spirit Week, dressing up in outfits inspired by Dr. Seuss themes and characters.

Our monthly theme focused on caring for the Earth. Our teachers created a variety of fun, engaging activities that helped our children learn the importance of protecting our planet in creative ways.

Our infants through two-year-olds explored different natural textures such as grass and sand, encouraging sensory development and curiosity about the world around them. They also engaged in earth-related finger plays, which helped encourage language development in a fun and interactive way.

Our preschool through VPK classes focused on caring for the Earth by creating projects using recycled materials.

These hands-on activities helped children understand how to reuse items and reduce waste while expressing their creativity.
