March Highlight: Do More 24

Once again, Do More 24 was a great success! We surpassed our $40,000 goal, raising a total of $54,485 for our youth. Thank you to each and every one of our 521 donors who gave during the 24 hours. Your support allows us to continue fulfilling our mission, and ensures that our Club kids are prepared for Great Futures ahead!

Program Feature: Open Gym at Fraim

Open gym time at our Clarence Fraim location continues to bring in dozens of teens throughout the week. During open gym, teens sign into the Club and utilize the gym to run basketball drills and play against each other in teams. Teen Director Andrea Alexander-Shorts says the program sees upwards of 30 teens a night, with the majority of participants walking over from nearby neighborhoods.

Club Activity: Olive B. Loss Art Show

The Club kids at our Olive B. Loss Elementary site recently showcased their talents with an art show! During weekly lessons, they learned how to create neon signs with colored pencils, flower pots with sketching and painting, and a lightening bug scene using oil pastels. At the art show, students exhibited their work for parents and answered questions about the artistic process.
