We had a great time at our first big event of the year, the Annual Membership Meeting & Breakfast Bonanza. It almost wasn't a breakfast, but, despite some guy named Murphy trying to disrupt our fun, Wonder City Bakery treats satisfied the hunger until Catered Affairs by Shelby got past the mega traffic jam on I-95 and folks got to eat. Check out Board President Denny McDermott's Membership Address on HPGTV below. And now, onward and upward! Here's a look at what's going on in March.

See HPGVA in a Chevrolet!
|
You may not know that the HPG Chamber assists in marketing Hopewell and Prince George. One initiative for 2020 will be hospitality outreach. We have partnered with Strosnider Chevrolet to host local hotel FAM (familiariztion) tours before summer tourism heats up. The more local hotel staff know about what's on offer in HPG, the better they can inform their guests and drive those crucial tourism dollars into the local economy. Anyone wishing to participate should contact
Becky McDonough.
