Thank You Outgoing Board Members

AZA United would like to express our deepest gratitude for our outgoing board members Tess Calvert, Greg Clark and Don Taylor, who are completing their service terms. We are beyond grateful for the countless hours these committed leaders invested in our organization and the welfare of the families we serve! For over ten years, these outstanding individuals volunteered their valuable time and expertise to lead AZA United with integrity, dedicating their energy to help chart our past, present and future. Pictured above from left to right: Tess Calvert, autism mom and project manager at ASU; Greg Clark, autism dad and entrepreneur; and Don Taylor, autism dad and municipal court judge. It takes great leadership and a heart of gold to build a valuable community organization, and each of you have brought an enormous amount of both to AZA!

As a nonprofit organization, the Board of Directors is AZA United’s volunteer governing body. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities and priorities. Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization to ensure we are doing everything we can to achieve our mission. Meet the rest of our amazing Board Members here.

Full Crowd Attends Our First Ever Run for Autism

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported AZA United and attended our Inaugural Run for Autism this past Saturday!

With nearly 500 registrants, we doubled the number of people we were expecting, and 39 teams were formed - thank you Team Captains! Children enjoyed the obstacle course, lawn games, the fire truck and police cars experience, and the Kid's Dash. Overall, this community awareness event raised almost $20,000, which will support our expansion of locations and programs for families.

We are deeply grateful to our event sponsors Design Works Gaming, Therapy Tree, Mr. Appliance and KinectAbility. Volunteers and team captains, we couldn't have achieved this success without you all. Thank you so much!
