A Word From Our Director

Happy March!

Thank you for your years of participation and support!

We have a lot going on regarding both programs and fundraising and I wanted to share it with you. Perhaps you can pass it on to someone who could benefit from our programs? Perhaps you’d like to try something new?

We are currently running several adapted recreational sports programs:

Bowling: first and third Thursday of the month at McHenry Bowl, 4 pm

Soccer: March 25, 22 at Mary Grogan Soccer Complex, 5:30 pm

Golf: April 3, 20, 17 & 24 at Dryden Park Golf Course, 4:15 pm

Bike Camp: March 18-22 at Downey High School, 8 am – 12 pm

Miracle League Baseball: March 16, 23; April 6, 13, 20; May 4, 11 at Big Valley School, 8am – 12pm

Our Jeans and Jewels Western Gala takes place Saturday, April 27 at Richard’s Ranch (just outside of Modesto near Hwy 132 and Carpenter road)

This is our biggest fundraiser and it’s lots of big fun, too! Steak dinner, raffle, auction, music, drinks…we have it all and we invite you to join us!

For this event, you can help in these ways:

Sponsor a table – starts at $1000 (get a group of 8 together and split the sponsorship!)

Donate a live auction item – hosted dinners, unique experiences and vacation homes are all very popular

Donate a silent auction prize, raffle item, or raffle basket

Donate a dessert for our dessert auction/table

You can also connect us to people that can help our events or our programs. We feel like we’re a best kept secret…and we’d like not to be so, Tell a Friend!

Endless Possibilities Thrift Store

Have you heard? Our Thrift Store is now open on Saturdays! If you couldn't make it down to check out the deals because it was a busy week, stop by on a Saturday to see what amazing finds there are. We have weekly and daily sales, be sure to check us out on our Facebook page!

Adapted Bike Camp

Our adapted bike camp is fast approaching and we need volunteers! Join us during the week of March 18-22 to teach someone how to ride a bike. Volunteers will be assisting floor directors and needed to run alongside campers as they progress throughout the week.

Miracle League

The 2024 Spring Season of Miracle League is just around the corner. Registration is closed, but there is still time to register as a volunteer. Sign up today to help a Player join the sport of baseball. We can't wait to see you all out on the field. Opening Day was just this past Saturday, but we have plenty more games ahead!

Golf with First Tee

We are bringing back a much-anticipated program this spring. Join us for this 4-week skills camp to help participants get started and progress to different levels in the sport. Coaches are First Tee trained and love working with beginners.

Aktion & Buddy Club Spring Celebration

Are you ready for this month's Aktion & Buddy Club? We will be having a spring celebration with all of our friends on March 29. Join us for the games, crafts, music, food, and fun!
