Tutoring Routines Now Available

A new feature on the PAAER Tutors page offers a set of resources to your tutors for their immediate use. These tutoring routines are flexible instructional methods that volunteer tutors can use daily or weekly, adjusting the content as needed to meet the needs of their student(s). Tutors can incorporate one or two of the routines into their lessons, and classroom aides can use routines with individuals or groups of students as directed by the lead instructor.

Tutoring routines are standards-aligned and provide students with structured, regular practice of key academic skills. There are currently nine routines listed and more are planned for the future. Each routine offers the tutor's material as a PDF and the student's material in both PDF and Word format.

You can learn more about how tutors can utilize tutoring routines in the PD Portal course, "Tutor Training Module: Tutoring Routines."
