Restaurant Week is March 16th-23rd
Community members are invited to once again enjoy Restaurant Week, returning March 16th-23rd. Organized by Heart of Biddeford, Saco Main Street, and the Chamber, and sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings, this annual event showcases the region’s vibrant food scene with special promotions, unique dining experiences, and interactive culinary events.
The week kicks off with the Community Soup-er on Sunday, March 16th. Attendees will enjoy a selection of soups, breads, and desserts donated by local restaurants. All proceeds will benefit our local food pantries, and it is encouraged to bring perishable goods for the food drive. The event will be hosted at the First Parish Congregational Church on Beach Street, with two separate seating options at 5 pm or 6 pm. Get your tickets HERE
For the March 16th-23rd Restaurant Week period, we currently have 30 local establishments participating in this promotional effort. All week long you can support locally owned restaurants, experience the area’s diverse food scene, and strengthen community connections through dining and culinary experiences. Also, there are SPECIAL DEALS! You can view all the participating restaurants and their special offers HERE
There is also a FYOOD Cooking Competition on Wednesday, March 19th, where local amateur chefs will put their skills to the test. This live cooking competition will be held at the Biddeford Regional Center of Technology’s Culinary Program kitchen. Teams will compete in two timed rounds—savory and sweets—using mystery ingredient baskets unveiled at the start of each challenge. More info and tickets are available HERE
We look forward to seeing you out there!
